If you truly don't understand: speedrunning: the act of accomplishing a goal in a video-game in the fastest time possible (usually that act being beating the game under certain criteria) 120 star speedrunning: Beating Super Mario 64 as fast as you can after collecting all 120 stars (no hacks/modifications to the game of course. Additionally, the most popular version to play on for SM64 is the N64 version. Technically VC is faster, but SM64 generally is more purist) carpetless: a trick that skips needing to use the carpet in Rainbow Ride (last stage of the game) to get a star that typically requires said carpet.
