I really do hope what few "moderate" Reps are left...or the ones from swing districts, rather... eventually work w/ Dems for some sort of power sharing agreement or a moderate Rep that has rules set upon him so he can't then ignore the Dems that got him into power.

The constant 212 for Jeffries is funny and all, but sadly we do need a Speaker and no Reps are voting D.

And yes, I know this is Republicans' fault and it shouldn't be up to Dems to fix. But the bottom line is we need a functional Congress to avoid/end a shutdown, and all of this is cutting into Biden's time in office to actually do anything.
The right wing is cool w/ Gym as speaker or no speaker (functionally the same thing) b/c they want a long shutdown and to keep Biden from being able to do anything.
