Does anyone remember this one also becoming a big viral sensation? It almost feels like I dreamed it, because it doesn't seem like something that would've been nearly as popular as it was. I feel like I've played plenty of other, more interesting versions of this same concept, usually as minigames within other games. This is yet another case of a game I played basically to see what the hype was about, only to not understand the hype. Not a bad game, like it works fine for what it is, but what it is is just so minimal that it's hard to justify putting higher.

There will only be a few Newgrounds games on this list. I played a bunch as a teen, but my memory of most of them is so fuzzy and distant that there's no way I could accurately choose which all I did and didn't play. I absolutely played a lot of Interactive Buddy though, and looking back it's pretty clear why. It's about as juvenile of a game that exists. Do damage to the faceless (though you can buy faces for things that were relevant around that time like Teletubbies and Napoleon Dynamite) buddy to see him ragdoll around the screen, and the more damage you do, the more new weapons you can buy. It's dumb, but I guess it serves its purpose.
