Yep, it's another one of these. FNAF is obviously iconic and influential, but that's not exactly because it's a good game. The gameplay can be summed up as essentially "wait for jump scares to happen, sometimes press a button to prevent them." It's the kind of thing that makes great content for let's players but isn't exactly fun to play. I'll at least give it some credit for putting effort into the lore, even if it's pretty silly at this point

I bought this for dirt cheap when looking for more multiplayer party games because it was a funny concept. It's super simple and gets kinda boring after like 15 minutes. But it does feature this catchy as hell song (good thing too, because it's literally the only song in the game:

Look, I admire the work that went into this game. It does a good bit with very little, and in 2006, way before we could just auto-generate full AI conversations, this felt almost revolutionary. Realistically, there isn't really a whole lot you can do here. There are only a select handful of responses it'll recognize and respond to. At its best it's so awkward it's funny, at its worst it's just uncomfortable and kinda uncanny valley. It's definitely memorable though!
