I heard a lot of hype about it prior to release and then nothing after it came out I haven't played a Pokemon game since 1999. I played and enjoyed Cassette Beasts. Not as much as someone who likes Pokemon, but the more 2-D Zelda-esque parts of the game were good. There were a few things that frustrated me, but that was mostly on me and not the game.
