Topic	Have you ever been adopted by a cat?

One day one of them was out in the snow having trouble breathing and we took him to the vet. He had an issue where all his internal organs were compressed and out of place (either from genetic issues or trauma like getting hit with a car, we never found out for sure). We paid for the operation to correct it and he lived with us happily for several years. (He had a really hard life, a few years later he had cancer in one of his front paws and had to have it amputated, and a few years after that he died of kidney failure.)
