Maybe I'm not awake yet, but wasn't it a girl playing girl's basketball? I'm not seeing how that's implying she's transgender. She apparently looks "boyish" due to short hair and a muscular build so the comment "Girls' basketball..." was mostly said sarcastically and implying that it wasn't "really a girl" playing At least that's how I interpreted it --- https://i.imgtc.com/MGGa6Os.gif ...
