I'm glad that schools keep doing this. Educators are putting in work to "follow" the ridiculous law in the most tongue-in-cheek way possible to keep attention on the law and just how horrifically broad it is. They can still get the students the information they need, and frame it with a "this is what Republicans to keep you from learning."

As a bonus, it could help teachers identify students that may need protection. Any parents that would actually deny such permissions is dangerous.
