What astounds me is how so many supposed bleeding heart people only care about the atrocities the U.S. directly or indirectly supports when the media decides it's newsworthy. There is so much suffering in the world beyond our comprehension in first world countries, and it will only get worse if we lose our focus on the bigger picture.

Do you want us to invade? This post is just dumb hand wringing because we can't do anything to stop the genocides happening in Africa or the genocide in China other than invade. Meanwhile this war, we can just cut funding, stop sending weapons and remove war ships protecting the offending nation. There far more control over this, and what we see is that America is too immoral to do any good.
