Even if we're using the term genocide only now, it's not like the situation in Israel was much better before the events late last year, when you take into account the aggregate losses over the years.

They had homes back then lmao. Most of their homes been destroyed in this conflict. Universities are gone. Food production is gone. Hospitals are gone. Schools are gone. The whole population have PTSD. Entire societal disruption is extremely differen from "aggreagate" loses. This is a political number game to frame it in this way. I do not think you comprehend the level of destruction that comes with the term TOTAL war.

I think there is a definite need for activism on this issue because without it we live in the same state of ignorance and the situation has definitely gotten worse in a short amount of time, but be aware of what is realistically achievable by our leaders when we're coming up on election season. Focus on the real enemy and not your own political allies.

Israel cannot survive without global support. A boycott alone can cripple the nation, hence why it illegal to do so. All they have to do is stop the current support. Do not even need active interference
