Michael_Booth 03/02/24 10:15:27 AM #5: | I'm afraid your joke doesn't really work, as Western numerals are actually called "Hindu-Arabic numerals", as the symbols were actually invented by Indian mathematicians (and the country at the time was called Hindustan by other regions) in the 3rd-4th century, they were only later "adopted" by Arabic mathematicians in the 9th century.
