Topic	Soooo, what's the point of playing story games?

There's a reason ff6 is more beloved than 5, despite 5 having the job system, better bosses and better dungeons. Likewise there's a reason Pokemon Mystery Dungeon explores has a much bigger fandom than Super Mystery Dungeon, even with the later being obstenially more advance (though I dont think the story of SMD was terrible) --- Rip Politics board.
