Topic	Did any of you here actually like any of those novels you were probably forced

I still have no idea what it was about but out of all the books there this is the one that made me wonder the most wtf it was about. A boy and a black man get shipwrecked. The boy ends up going blind, and they have to survive. At least, thats what I recall.
