I mean you can keep saying that but they didnt succeed because of undercutting the competition.

they succeeded because they did right by the consumer (even if that means at the detriment of the employees).

they didnt invent the concept but they are the first major organization to challenge the monopoly Taxis had. It sucks a small business like that failed because of it, and would be nice if a company that did right by both consumer and employee made it major instead, but youre not gonna drive up sympathy with me at least by advocating that I was better off paying $45 instead for the same $17 trip I take now just because a city somewhere far away had a small business to avoid that problem.
