It's okay if it's sparse throughout the day, I can handle that. But holding conversations through it, no thanks. She would kinda freak out and ask if I'm still there when it's been an hour since I last responded. And I would try and put in some effort like, 'how's babysitting going?' and she just says "good", nothing else. That drives me crazy.
