Topic	Weren't there talks in Congress a couple years ago about erasing DST?

I just dont understand why, in the winter, when the days are shorter anyway, they decided thats a good time to push the clock back so it gets darker at an even earlier time. Be nice if they sprung ahead once more and then just fucking left it. I cant think of a genuinely good reason for switching times twice a year.
