I'm not super-far, just a few hours in: defeated Meg ~3-4 times, furthest run is 22 at the Barge of Death.
Cool game, enjoying it so far! I'm trying to figure out the best strategy for my more permanent items. Darkness points, jewels (diamonds apparently in the future), nectar, keys, blood-stuff...that sort of thing. What are good strategies for maximizing those?
What I've done so far: I started off focusing on keys and darkness points so I can keep improving Zag. However, with just one 30-key lock with the mirror remaining, I'm realizing the only things my keys are good for now are that final locked spot with the mirror, getting a new weapon (currently have sword/shield/bow), and like trading for some other items. I've been kinda free and willy-nilly with the nectar, with Chakan getting most of them up to this point...not understanding the heart system yet for these characters other than nectar = heart I think. I had two blood-items, but I traded one for 200 jewels and then traded them for keys...been holding the other blood-items since then.
A little gentle guidance on how to better take advantage of the more permanent items in Hades would be appreciated, thanks!
