I'd argue climbing on stage during a show and assaulting the host/presenter/performer while screaming profanity etc would get you arrested unless you were a millionaire. And there's quantfiable cases of this happening over and over.

You're the one who keeps adding new things like "Only if they are rich" And then got furious at me for pointing out that it would happen no matter what.

Unless the guy doing the assault is a millionaire.

I can't think of a single case ever in history were a non millionaire has jumped on stage during a show, assaulted the host/performer while screaming profanity and not been arrested.

Please point out when this has occured.

Yes

And I've asked for evidence where this ever wasn't the case and you can't provide it

And more downplaying

1st guy: Host of a show were your job is to make jokes: "Made Jokes"

2nd guy: Jumped on stage and assaulted someone while screaming profanity.

"Well they both need to be punished for being silly also the 2nd guy shouldn't be arrested but I refuse to answer whetether I would be arrested if I did it."

So let me try another question. Do you believe you should be allowed to jump on stage during shows and assault performers while screaming profanities without being arrested?

Only a yes or no please

Assuming they actively insulted my wife just before that, and are literally directly addressing me and my family? Yes, I do believe I should be able to walk over to them and slap them without going to prison. (Being arrested is not the thing actually being discussed here, despite your constant attempts to drag the goalposts all over the place, but I also dont think an arrest needs to happen, just separation.) just as I believe that should be the case anywhere and I dont particular care if theres a stage and rich people involved.

Spoilers: He won't answer this one either

lmao

I agree they aren't comparable so why are you bringing it up?

No you can't argue self defense from a violent attack and a comedian cracking a joke are the same thing.

I can argue that theyre both breaches of decorum at the Oscars and thus both deserving of punishment specifically from the academy. Which is what I actually said.

Your example here would be if Chris Rock slapped Will Smith back after being slapped and knocked him out. It would be victim blaming to then say Chris Rock should be arrested for defending himself.

So you do agree there is behavior deserving of retaliation, you just disagree what behavior that is. Interesting.

You see, because you're blaming the victim, Chris Rock... Like you just blamed the Victim, Chris Rock fact you're bootlicking so far to even pretend a comedian cracking a joke at a show is the same offense as a violent mugger trying to stab you with a knife just so you can defend millionaires being above the law is insane.

Victim blaming is when you blame a victim for just living their life and then being attacked for doing things that had nothing to do with the attacker. Like wearing certain clothes or being in a certain place. Not actively insulting someone else and being openly antagonistic.
