Topic	Bigot means "By God"?

Isnt it funny how in ancient times soldiers would pray to God for support before going into battle? Never realizing that if God is going to favor you in this battle, letting you kill many other people, only to likely favor the other side next time, that would suggest theyre treating you like a chess piece?
