I actually looked up Dynasty Warriors 10 a few days ago and the word is there could be an announcement this year. But nothing official yet. Kinda funny I bring that up now as I did think the series was dead as I bump this topic. It'll be shit, I guarantee it. DW got lost as a franchise I believe. It started out in the first several entries as trying to simulate ancient warfare on a big battlefield, with you being a powerful warrior alongside your army. It evolved into just goofiness. I remember in the first entries you actually had bodyguards. Like, you trained up 8 little dudes to fight alongside you, and they were actually important.
