Not Japan though. I'm from London. It wasn't that hard once I landed the job, I think from western countries like ours Japan is more relaxed in handing out Visas. It does help to have quite a bit saved up though. I speak at a conversational Japanese level. I know Hiragana, Katakana and a hundred or so Kanji (Maybe more now).
