| loafy013 03/30/24 12:31:59 PM #26: | Played the remake when it was free on PS+ and didn't do much for me. Never really got the hype for FF7 in the first place and didn't care for the combat so not interested in the next installment.
I've come to expect that the newer FF games just aren't made for people like me. Fell in love with FF6 when I played it in the 90's in college, FF7 was a one and done for me, 8/9/X were multiple playthroughs. Spent about 10 years playing 11. 12 and 13 I just lost interest in about 3/4 of the way through because the story didn't grab me and didn't like the battle system. Tried 14 but it wasn't like 11 so that was a no go. Decided to cut my losses and not waste any more money on a franchise that has changed too much from what made me enjoy it. --- The ball is round, the game lasts 90 minutes. That's fact.
