Its the same reason why despite Alex Jones being ordered to pay up in the Sandy Hook defamation trial, he hasnt and probably never will have to give up a damn cent to the families. Really, civil trials are just there to make it look like the rich will be held accountable. Its all the same dog and pony show that the federal trials are, just with the lip service of them being found liable.
