I think the most terrifying image for me regarding the future of AI is the combination of AI and robotics in manufacturing. A manufacturing plant run by AI and robots doesn't need any light systems nor any need for HVAC systems; just a completely dark cold factory running 24/7.

You're referring to an old adage on history, but man... AI produces so much and can do so without human input.

Here's an article of an autonomous software agent in development, taking on work for pay and solving coding problems. What's going to happen when these guys are ubiquitous in the market?
