And then the evil piano starts doing jazzy things. Great funk at :45. I don't really like the string too much though, except when they're copying the piano. The theory is that I keep expecting it to sound like the old games, given the compositional simularities, and am subconsciously upset and thrown off when it isn't. My trick is to just pretend I'm hearing DS quality sound and it's suddenly much better, though I do feel there are some meaningful differences in chords or something that I just like less.
