If every bet they make is that they're going to kick ass and be the best? I don't have a problem with it. No. No athletes should be able to bet on anything in their sport. It is in their contract, and needs to be enforced to ensure the integrity of the game. Refs obviously should never be able to bet, neither should players or coaches.
