Your parents should charge you something I guess it depends on things like if they're an only child and how much they love them. I'm an only child and my parents never charged me when I lived with them as an adult. My friend is a male middle child between 2 sisters and his parents never made his sisters pay rent, though they did make him pay rent. 400/mo as well oddly enough. They also never helped him with school cause his older sister flunked out and the younger sister is the doted on darling, and he's the only one to finish and get his bachelor's.
