I think Darkness (if they curb her insatiable thirst a bit) or Aqua could probably hold their own in a spinoff in the right circumstance, but Megumin really didn't work as a "main" at all. She's best as a reactionary character. Then again, I'm not really into the deliberate chuuni, even the ones that make a joke out of the archetype. It reminded me of how everyone loved Gundham Tanaka from DR2 for some weird reason, though all he did was hang around hamsters.
