given the limited scope of human knowledge relative to what fully encompasses reality, it would be irrational not to believe in some abstract notion of the paranormal. i'm confident there have been paranormal or otherwise emergent phenomena which have not been scientifically explained yet, but that does not mean they aren't real before that point. that's not to say i believe in the specifics of things typically associated with "the paranormal" though. --- http://i.imgur.com/A0TAfek.png ...
