That's the important thing on top of it sounding like you're on friendly terms with them. Tc is supposed to be "officially done" with his "ex" that he never has been in a relationship with about something that started early March because she lied about something minor to someone she's not serious because he straight up said it's fine to date other people. Then tc gets to the point where he wanted to sue her about gifts, pays attention to what happens in her apartment and when she's in town and thinks about harassing a family member that he hasn't spoken to in 4 years about the situation and downplays anything shitty he says to make himself look better.
