For anyone encouraging others to abstain from voting for Biden, I hope they're ready to be the frontrunners in whatever revolution we're supposed to have after they let Trump take power. I would hope that have more than more peaceful protests in mind, but somehow I don't think they have the means to back up their passion by showing an actual achievable alternative to having to live under GOP rule. Also, anyone wanting to promote an Acceleration theory or whatever the fuck they call it can go bang their heads against the wall until their few remaining brain cells no longer threaten the well-being of the rest of us.

I'm ultimately afraid though that there will be no coming back for us as a society, not because of continued apathy and perceived helplessness, but because if the GOP gets control of the presidency and congress, Project 2025 and the US leaving the Paris Climate Agreement would be a point of no return for our country and humanity at large. Peoples' enthusiasm doesn't matter if Project 2025 prevents democratically elected leaders from taking power in the world's most powerful country. It also doesn't matter if oceans and landmasses reach a crucial point of heat and/or acidity that coral reeves, plankton, bees, and all other basic fundamental parts of our global ecosystems cannot survive in significant numbers. With the latter, we're already so close to a point of collapse, and people still have the nerve to act like there are issues so important that we should risk electing leaders to let everything go straight off the deep end. It's infuriating the societal state we've gotten to really. So yeah, there's my rant. Fandom can shove it up its ass if this kind of dialogue is now being discouraged.
