That is the part people are missing. Hes not a random internet person. GameFaqs isnt a throwaway independent fan site even if thats what it felt like over the past couple of years.

GameFaqs is owned by a billion dollar corporation. It sold back in the day for 3+ million dollars.

Public facing employees of corporations use their real names. They have public facing bios, email signatures, linkedins, business cards, and company profiles. This doesnt mean that they arent allowed to also have personal lives.

There is literally zero blame on DToast here. The fact that the CEmen were braisen enough to quickly do this on the first place was a perfect case study for its quarantine.

There are thousands of gaming studios and media platforms with social media/community managers. They dont have to worry about being dangerously stalked and harassedbut this has quite literally happened to every community manager this platform has ever had.

Its a culture problem. Current Events was the foundation for the core users (our native influencers) that set that vibe and maintain that atmosphere. It needed to be contained in order for the platform to evolve into its next era
