You did not go out, you had a very casual catch up talk, stop romanticizing everything that you've done with her in fantasy land. You were not in a relationship, you were not dating and you just started talking to her again after a year and a half.

And why did you lie that you "just found it out" weeks later after you've talked when you knew it before you even talked to her? And then make the stretch that she wants something romantic when you very much knew that she has a boyfriend and didn't even hint at wanting anything with you.
