Topic	Can someone canonically expain cultural stagnation in the Fallout franchise?

It really screams the 'American dream' at you but like another user said, they deconstruct it in the very games. Pre war is what people would think of when they think of the future. I actually think of Back to the Future when I imagine the Fallout games.
