MrToothHasYou 05/02/24 7:29:35 PM #30: | Because human doesnt have the same linguistic/etymological roots and origin as man and woman. Human comes from Latin, man/woman from Germanic.
Interestingly the same root of the Latin version (also where we get the prefix homo-) did also make its way through the Germanic languages, and into English, where we get the term groom, as in bridegroom --- (he/him) "The hopeless don't revolt, because revolution is an act of hope." ...
