SMTV Vengeance seems like a much more complete game then base SMTV. Og SMTV was clearly hurt by time constraints as well as being confined to the switch I spoiled myself on everything in the main story on the Switch version because I just wasn't going to play it anytime soon or get one. But it does seem like they filled out more of the story and is getting some better early press. Zikten 1 had a brief English port that was removed (like you said) not sure why. I really liked 2, I was playing it on ZSNES lol and still have my old save game, but got lost in a backtracking mess and completely forgot where to go. SMT II has a really cool feel. Also fwiw SMT 1 got a fan translation for the PSX. I have it but never bothered to try it much. Just eh I know everything about SMT 1.
