Yeah it being a time-gating mechanic makes sense, but still it's funny to me to think I was proceeding too quickly because compared to the average Hades player I don't think I'm good? Especially with this game, I am getting hit constantly and feel like I'm struggling every random battle, let alone boss, just died to Oceanus boss again after losing defiances to Erebus miniboss and boss. Even in original Hades I struggled with anything that wasn't ranged, the bow and the shield/aspect of zeus were my go-to.

Agreed and I know this is early access so I trust they'll sort out the balancing. I know this is a small/dumb complaint, but it's pretty weaksauce to give you resource requirements that are unattainable, like I was carrying the pick hoping to get "bronze" for a bunch of runs. And then when you finally learn where you get bronze, or wool, or some plants, it... spoils location(s) you haven't been to yet? not a fan of that. Would've rather a "found in ??" instead personally. Only holding one tool also a serious pet peeve so I'm with you there (not reading either of those spoiler tags though), my last (failed) run I popped down to chaos a few times, one time had a fish, one had a mining deposit, and there I am w/ my friggin tablet of peace. brutal!!

I am a fan of being rewarded for spending money with Charon though, lol.
