In the free period after lunch I was hanging out in the gym, sitting on the bleachers, and one of them was shooting baskets and just REALLY bad at it, I mean making a real fool of himself, just watching him made me cringe a little. A bunch of other kids were making fun of him, and I thought of joining in... then pictured myself doing that, being no better than the kids who had bullied me. And even though he was an annoying little shit who had never been remotely nice to me, I knew I never wanted to be someone who picked on those weaker than me. I just walked away. I was no hero. I sure wasn't brave enough to stick up for him. But I wasn't going to join in on kicking him when he was down. --- man - noun. A miserable pile of secrets. EXAMPLE: What is a man?
