so you're confident in nasa's ability to predict orbits 5 years into the future. im sure solar wind, another asteroid, space dust, a rogue satellite are all perfectly accounted for.

maybe a grad student phoned-in one of their calculations.

maybe the asteroid has frozen hydrogen on it, and that will melt and alter it's trajectory. yes that is a thing that can happen.

so gtfo of here with 0% chance. they are saying it's passing 5 earth-lengths away. like...that is very close, don't you think?
