I worked dealing with AMVs at Anime Boston. I had a lot of fun. We had ran a gameshow to which I would run around the room having audience members pick themes out of a hat, and helped Emcee the event with my friend, who is the coordinator of the room with her husband. I ran my own 30 minute panel to see how it was and that went great (pretty much pets in anime). All we really do is just monitor the electronics while AMVS played for the crowd mostly, so not too much excitement to state in the actual event running for that reason, but I liked it! Post-event, we went to my friend's (the coordinator) hotel room and about 8-9 of us played some card games. (Exploding Kittens + That's Not A Hat) .... which lead to so many fun times, we were all having good hearty laughs. Next year, I plan to run my very own gameshow. I want to run a 'Watch this AMV and answer this question based on the video'.
