Look at what happened in Ukraine with him supporting seperatist movements in the south. Same thing in Georgia. Give the pro-Russian forces in Moldova money, weapons and run disinfo campaigns, then he could legitimately cause a civil war and give a reason for Russia to invade to "protect" Russian speaking Moldovans.
