this. somebody taking up a designated parking spot (especially for someone who has to use a wheelchair) is the one of the lowest things somebody could do to someone.

probably play revenge game with a can of coke. there wouldn't be any more talking (straight to the punishment).
There are plenty of ways i could fuck with their car and its fun to think about, but ultimately I would be fucked if he retaliates

At most, im tempted to scrape/ram his car with the wheelchair trying to get out of the garage. We'll see how mad I am next time it happens -_-

this is good advice too

local news love shit like this

as an extension of that idk how big your city is but this is the sort of thing that my local news might pick up if i just posted this on my city's subreddit
Hmm yeah actually posting in my city's subreddit isn't a bad idea for getting some local attention

Would where they park constitute a parking violation if you did it? Like if you blatantly park in front of a driveway such that it blocks flow in/out, that could warrant a ticket or tow by police.

If it is and you would get in trouble for leaving your vehicle like that, then it's definitely a discrimination thing if they're not actioning it
Oh its my driveway in front of my garage, but I dont own a car so its empty. It literally only inconveniences me loll

Damn this is still ongoing? I'm so sorry to hear that. I remember you posting about it over a year ago, and I just assumed you had gotten things resolved.

I agree with getting legal advice on what to do. You should not have to deal with this for so long
Yeahh its really an on-and-off thing, and I probably don't always even catch it because I leave my house so rarely. If I was going out and this was happening every day, it'd almost be easier to deal with

Oh yeah that's definitely against the HOA lol, I think any kind of signage is too

Do you have the legal right to that area of your driveway? What is in your contract / lease / ownership papers?

Any time it is there call a tow truck on it. So long as you have the legal right to that spot there's nothing anyone can do. And you can pay a lawyer to draft up a C&D for relatively cheap. Most lawyers give some kind of free consultation up to 30 minutes so actually look around. You can check your state's BAR page to find relevant lawyers afaik.
It is my designated parking spot with the condo unit, but im not sure of the exact legal designation. I know that some local tow companies would not come out to tow at my complex, I had to find the specific one contracted to tow here

Hmm ill take a look into the BAR page and see if I can find one, ty for the info :0

I also want to repeat once again that HOAs are a terrible, culty idea and nobody should ever willingly live in a neighborhood that has one.
I also have to pay them $10k for a special assessment by July <3 really wish I had the option to live outside of one when I moved
