If I can share my story...I was relentlessly bullied in middle school. I was small and weak, my hair was so blonde it was almost white. When I stood up for myself, I was punished.

Stories like this one really hit home.

When it come to solutions, it has to be two-fold. Teachers and faculty need to be more proactive as well as parents. It starts at home. If I found one of my kids was a bully there would be hell to pay.
