i can't believe i didn't realise sog-gee was actually from david wise, i remember just leaving a note saying it felt like a clone of modern dkc in the nom impressions lol (also that i didn't want it to make bracket because some of the sounds made me think i was getting discord notifs. turns out it still does lmao). maybe i'll check out the rest of the soundtrack later
meanwhile i'd take this to be a lsd dream emulator fangame? the music is... different to what i'd expect from one, but also damn catchy. close match

and this is why we haven't had an aria rep in forever lol. the push to get a gba retiree is justified, but you have to pick stuff that doesn't just soil itself with bad soundfont choices other games on the system handled far better. in other words, get actually good gba soundtracks in, not just the most mainstream games...
