If you can somehow spend half your life paying off a house, college debt, while paying for health insurance, and raising children while saying you were able to save 2 million to retire then you're part of the 1%. Retirement is for people who are upper and upper middle class in modern society. You are literally gambling that your health won't fail as well as you get older or you don't get into some horrible accident. If that happens then there goes your retirement savings. Saving for retirement is a far away dream for your average American now. That's assuming social security doesn't go away too. You're better off not slaving away for a low chance possible retirement and enjoy your life making memories doing the things you thought you might do when you're 70. --- Sig ...
