Topic	"I'm not saving for retirement because I won't be around then"

Like, as small of a chance you think it is, what if you beat the odds and do actually make it to retirement with no retirement savings? What do you anticipate will happen? This is more of a curiosity thing, as I am sure there must be retirees alive today who had the same sentiment when they were younger and I also wonder what has resulted of them. If I make it to 70 then my plan is to collect on social security. If I dont have a house then Ill have to hope there is a cheap enough rental to afford me until I either croak or the state sends me to a nursing home.
