Bleuets posted... When I first started the show, I expected 13 valid and important reasons why Hannah did what she did.
However, upon initially watching the show, I was disappointed as to some of the 13 reasons why. Dont get me wrong, some of the reasons are solid and would traumatize anyone, but many of the reasons are what I would consider petty.
I remember one reason in particular was that she gets into an argument with her friend that she started!
On top of that, some of the choices Hannah makes are very difficult to understand because they are such poor choices and decisions.
That said, afterwards I tried to remember that Hannah is a high school girl not making the best decisions and from her perspective her reasons are important to her.
So yea, first season was a mixed bag for me. Second season was actually an improvement over the first, but that could be because it was more of what I was expecting in the first season. Though second season had a terrible ending.
Third and fourth seasons dont even bother, theyre just bad.
There honestly should never have been more than one season for that show. Nearly all of her reasons were very basic things everyone has to go through.
