IPL is cricket, of all things.

EPL, La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A, Ligue 1, and CSL are all football.

I'm using US sports. Because this is a topic about US athletes.

Not Brazilian athletes, not English athletes. Not Argentinian athletes.

And the simple fact is, there's no money in the US for soccer players, so great soccer players simply move on to other sports as they age. Just like there's no money in amateur wrestling, so wrestlers out of college transition to MMA instead.

It's truly not that hard of a concept to understand.

I'll also ask again, who the top paid American soccer players are. I asked before and got a list with LeBron James being the only American athlete on it.
