It helps, but isn't important. If that's true, why is Biden so absolutely screwed against Trump? He may be a war criminal complicit in a genocide, but that hasn't stopped our other war criminal Presidents from getting elected. Outside of that, Biden has been a much better President than Obama on basically every front. Trump measurably made the lives of nearly every American worse.
