That diagram showing the position he was stuck in really stuck with me, so to speak. Absolutely horrendous way to go, and the tease of him almost being freed only for the pulley they were using break, followed by the rescuer being knocked out cold and the guy getting dropped back down to where he was again (and in even worse condition than before)?
